Hail from the only place in Jamaica where 4 parishes meet, Silent Hill, righteousness is what J.R. BLESSINGTON speaks. His gifts were recognized at a tender age by the elders In the community, his conscious positive lyrics as a kid, ability to play the drums in church, and DJing are just a few. Young J.R.BLESSINGTON learned how difficult it was for someone to get into the music industry, leading him to pursue another one of his gifts, football. He then migrated to the United States where he realized he had to serve his Godly purpose of serving the people with his gift of positive, uplifting, spiritual, conscious music.

 

In 2014 his first album Son of the Soil, a gem, was released. Following that was the release of his second album Hope in 2018 with the Str8 Fiyah Band. Most recently in 2022, J.R. BLESSINGTON released his third album Forward Movement, a guide to the future. During these years J.R. has shared the stage and opened concerts with some of the biggest artists in Reggae as he continues to work with international and local stars. His music ranges from Reggae, Rock, Soul, Gospel, R&B, to Roots and more. All of his music is meant to uplift humanity.
